Kent's dedicated commercial rewire team

Most electricians take on commercial rewires occasionally. We've built a specialism around them.

Commercial rewires are a different discipline to domestic work. They require coordination around trading hours, an understanding of business-critical systems, and the experience to manage larger, more complex installations across multiple days or phases.

We work with shops, offices, churches, care homes and landlords across the whole of Kent. Whether the property is actively trading or empty and being refurbished, we plan the work around your situation and ensure minimal disruption throughout.

Commercial Consumer Unit Upgrades

We specialise in installing RCBO consumer units with built-in surge protection. Each circuit is protected individually, which reduces the risk of faults cascading across the board and protects business-critical equipment from power surges.

Minimum disruption. Maximum care.

Commercial rewires require a different approach to domestic work. Your premises may be trading, occupied or operating seven days a week. We plan around that from the outset.

Out-of-hours scheduling

Where needed, we carry out work in the evenings or at weekends so your business operations aren't interrupted during trading hours.

Clean, protected workspace throughout

We use M Class hoovers and full protective sheeting on floors, displays and work areas throughout the project. Your premises stays presentable and safe while work is in progress.

Realistic timelines

A standard medium-sized commercial property can typically be rewired in 2 to 3 days, depending on size and complexity. We'll give you a specific estimate at survey stage.

First coat of filling included

Where chasing is required, we apply a first coat of filling before we leave. If you need the full decoration finishing, we can arrange that too - leaving the property ready for immediate use.

Certification and Compliance

All commercial rewires are carried out to BS 7671 (18th Edition) and certified on completion. You receive a full Electrical Installation Certificate and Part P sign-off - the documentation required for insurance, compliance records and building regulations purposes.

All engineers are Enhanced DBS checked and NICEIC qualified. CHAS and ECA membership means we meet the procurement requirements for most schools, care homes and public sector buildings.
